About the company
PromoTraffic, a digital agency with over 10 years’ experience, helps its clients build stronger customer relations, improve brand recognition and grow sales. Its offer includes Search Engine Optimisation and brand positioning, SEM and PPC advertising campaigns, social media support and marketplace development.
PromoTraffic leveraged its years of experience to develop #GrowWithUs, an original methodology focused on helping clients achieve maximum growth. The agency has a large portfolio of Polish and international clients and strives to provide the highest-quality business and tech expertise.
The company relies on Google Analytics, Google Ads and other marketing tools. From its inception, it has used the same email provider. The board also decided to take advantage of other office tools available with the Gmail package, which Google has continually improved over time and enriched with new functions.
At first, PromoTraffic purchased its Google Workspace tools directly from Google. As the company grew, it realised infrastructure problems and service interruptions are unacceptable in its business. The company needed outside technological support.
To ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations, the company decided to acquire tech support for all its tools, including Google Workspace. PromoTraffic chose FOTC as its tech partner.
As the company grew, we needed a technological partner dedicated to each tool we use. We needed someone to rely on in case of emergency. FOTC's tech support is fast and clear. I know from experience that Google tech support is not as efficient as what we get from FOTC.
Migrating its Google Workspace to FOTC, PromoTraffic also received a discount that Google Cloud partners can offer their clients.
The company takes full advantage of Google Workspace and its capabilities. Team members use office applications (documents, sheets, presentations), store files on the Drive and keep track of their schedules in Google Calendar. Google Meet and Gmail also play a big role in the agency’s success.
Online meetings at a higher level
Quality is paramount at PromoTraffic – both in terms of end results and the processes that get us there.
The agency holds regular online meetings to keep clients updated on the progress of ongoing campaigns, present offers to new clients and keep in touch with business partners. Two years ago, PromoTraffic had its offices refurbished and acquired cutting-edge technology to ensure the highest quality of online meetings.
The company purchased Jamboard interactive monitors recommended by Google, which are now used for meetings held via Google Meet. These all-in-one devices with an interactive board function are indispensable for video conferences and presentations.
Conference rooms have also been equipped with teleconferencing appliances to hold high-quality online meetings when several people are working at the same office.
We wanted to make sure our online meetings were top notch. When you talk one-on-one, you can do it from your laptop. But when you have more people in the office, it makes sense to have quality equipment to keep the meeting highly professional.
Google Workspace provides great tools for holding high quality online meetings, as well as for organising them. PromoTraffic has implemented a conference room booking system integrated with Google Calendar. By using the Resources function, employees can reserve rooms efficiently and check their availability, ensuring optimal occupancy.
Employees also use Google Meet for internal communication. During the pandemic, the application was of key importance – it allowed HR to make sure the team remained cohesive through regular meetings. Social online meetings were also useful for keeping morale up during a difficult period.
For ongoing communication, PromoTraffic uses an outside tool: Slack. The application is fully integrated with Google Workspace through various plugins, including Google Calendar, Slack for Gmail and Google Drive. Google Calendar checks the availability status of each employee, Slack for Gmail enables sending messages to Slack directly from Gmail, and the latter allows users to upload files from Google Drive to Slack channels. All the plugins are available at Google Workspace Marketplace.
At PromoTraffic, team members also often work on the same files simultaneously, which increases productivity when creating documents, presentations or reports in Sheets.
To assess the effectiveness of their campaigns, PromoTraffic uses Google Data Studio, a tool for generating marketing reports. Google has many automated reports integrated into the Data Studio, which makes presenting results to the client easier. Reports are saved to Google Drive and made available to the clients. This way teams within and outside the organisation can work on the same files. The process is secure because employees decide what clients can access and how they can interact with the files.
Gmail is the main tool for external communication at PromoTraffic. But not the only one. Employees can share their calendars outside the organisation to schedule meetings. The scheduling function allows clients to see when their account manager is available and request a meeting at a specific time, which greatly facilitates the entire process.
