About the customer

The food truck industry in Poland took off several years ago – the founders of Pasibus were the pioneers who perfectly tapped into the trend. Pasibus is one of the first food trucks in Poland. Their first vehicle hit the streets of Wrocław in 2013 and since then the Pasibus has spread its presence to many other Polish cities, ultimately becoming one of Poland’s most recognizable food brands. Despite operating in many locations today (not just food trucks, but also restaurants), Pasibus remains true to its roots and values: top quality, speed of service, mobility and innovativeness. From the very beginning, the company has had one goal in mind: to deliver delicious burgers on an ever larger scale and with consistent quality.

The challenge

In the initial phase of Pasibus’ growth, private Gmail fully satisfied the needs of the company. The specificity of working in a food truck did not pose too many typical office tasks to the owners, so Google applications that come with a free Gmail account were sufficient.

As the startup gained momentum, new vehicles and stationary locations appeared. From that moment on, using a private address in internal and external contacts no longer cut the mustard – the company could already afford professionalism.

Pasibus gained notoriety, and the restaurant chain began to expand. The owners needed to find office productivity apps that would help train employees remotely and streamline communication between restaurants. 

The solution

The implementation was quick and frictionless. It took just one meeting with FOTC representatives who took care of the implementation – the entire instance is then managed by one administrator.

Google Workspace allows the Pasibus crew to use all Google apps using Gmail accounts in the company’s domain. Employees do not have to log into a separate account to use different Google services, and thanks to a custom domain, Pasibus gained a more professional look.

Currently, communication in Pasibus is organized using Groups. This allows each restaurant to quickly establish contact with the headquarters and other Pasibus location, as well as get in touch with customers and business partners.

When workers used personal Gmail accounts, the employer had no way of ensuring that company data was well protected. Now the administrator can remotely check the strength of passwords or account activity with a few clicks in the Google Workspace admin console.

Professionalism

Using the company domain – @pasibus.pl – for the email was an important step in the development of the small gastronomic startup towards a nationwide chain of restaurants. In this way, their official correspondence gained a more professional look, and the administrator now had a possibility to manage all the email addresses in one place.

Ease of use

A single Google Workspace administrator can now easily handle all accounts in the Pasibus instance without any external support. The interface is intuitive and most users’ questions are covered by the Google help center.

Cohesion

Current and new Pasibus employees using professional Google Workspace mailboxes apppreciate the familiar interface they know from their private mailboxes. Thanks to this, the onboarding of new employees is much easier and can be carried out remotely. In addition, Gmail works perfectly with Google Maps and Google Local Business Cards, which facilitates local promotion and visibility in the world’s largest search engine.
