Booksy is an innovative Polish startup making it big on the international scene. It’s a free app allowing to discover and book health and beauty appointments like hairdressing, manicure, spa or massage.
Main challenge
Booksy is constantly developing and building new branches in different countries. Due to the fact that it is important to be able to manage accounts in such a way that each branch can add additional accounts and manage users. The intranet used by Booksy was problematic for the connections department and requires a solution that will relieve IT professionals, use a high level of security. In addition, a limited challenge was the organization of video conferencing with teams spread around the world.
Often, employees had a problem finding a convenient date for the meeting, tracking the time for exchanging huge amounts of emails and telephones. Subsidiaries want to improve team communication in planning meetings and important events.
It was also important to maintain consistent visual identification of the transferred files and efficient cooperation on them between employees from various locations.
The applications included in the G Suite package are very intuitive, thanks to which employees quickly got used to the new tools. The decisive factor in choosing this package was also the company's data security.
Problem solutions
Gmail turned out to be a mailbox that meets all Booksy requirements, and the data used to log in to the Google account is also used to log into the organization’s intranet.
Google Calendar proved to be a solution that allowed employees to arrange appointments quickly without having to exchange countless emails and telephones. The option of booking conference rooms from the Calendar also makes it easier to manage meeting places.
Google Meet is an application that allows employees from Poland to conduct regular video conferencing with branches in the United States or South Africa.
Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets – these tools have improved the simultaneous work of several people on one document. Booksy also created branded presentation and document templates that were shared with all members of the organization, which further facilitated the work and unified the appearance of the files sent.
