An inefficient, user-unfriendly email server that sabotaged team productivity
The company was using an email server that was not user-friendly, which slowed down team productivity. Its interface was far from intuitive, and it offered minimal options for personalization or efficient correspondence management. Moreover, searching for past messages was largely ineffective.
The absence of collaboration tools significantly hindered project management. There was no central, cloud-based data repository accessible to all employees in real-time. File work was conducted in a traditional model where documents were sent as attachments, leading to version control issues, approval delays, and difficulties for multiple people working on the same project simultaneously.

The selection of Google Workspace as the new communication and office platform was the result of a thorough analysis of available solutions on the market. The biggest technical challenge during the Google Workspace implementation process was the migration of all users’ mailboxes. Thanks to the support from the FOTC IT department, a seamless migration of all mailbox content was carried out from the previous server to the Gmail environment, with no data loss and minimal impact on the company’s daily operations.
