THE GOAL
Partners International sought reliable cloud experts to assist them in migrating their existing data to Google Workspace. This decision to move to the cloud was driven by the desire to find user-friendly work tools that would also enable better control over internal company processes.
THE STORY
Seeking to unify the work environment for streamlined and secure processes
Initially, Partners International used email on an IMAP server and private Gmail accounts for client communication, while various third-party applications were used for daily tasks. Over time, as the company grew, working in this fragmented environment became cumbersome. That’s the reason why they decided to switch to Google Workspace.
With a substantial history of data accumulation, including sensitive client records, ensuring complete security during the migration was critical. Consequently, the company sought a specialized partner to deliver not just a seamless migration to the new environment, but also an absolute guarantee of data protection throughout.

Partners International selected FOTC for their migration process. This decision was driven by FOTC’s extensive experience in managing such projects and their in-depth understanding of Google Workspace tools, which enabled FOTC to provide expert guidance on the optimal console setup, ensuring convenient future management, robust security, and effortless scalability to accommodate the organization’s growth.
The company’s transition to the new work environment began with an analysis of their technical setup and the team’s needs. Based on these discussions, the migration was strategically divided into three phases, each catering to a specific group of users. To ensure a seamless transition, mail traffic was configured with Dual Delivery. This allowed users to immediately begin using the Google Workspace service upon the completion of their phase, without waiting for the entire migration to be finalized for all users.
As a part of the post-migration setup FOTC engineers maintained complete reachability by configuring additional company domains and alias addresses. This guaranteed all the client and partner communications continue uninterrupted.
It’s important to remember that this transition wasn’t just about processes, but primarily about people. Therefore, care was taken to ensure that the shift in habits for team members (especially senior staff) resulting from the new work tools didn’t negatively impact their well-being. FOTC trainers held consultations and four practical workshops with the Partners International team. They explained Google Workspace apps and effective feature use. Participants got help with specific issues, with FOTC trainers showing collaborative solutions for future similar cases.

Currently, the entire Partners International team operates within a unified Google Workspace environment.
The ability to store data in the cloud and utilize integrated applications such as Calendar, Meet, Docs, and Sheets has significantly streamlined the team’s ability to work flexibly, supporting both remote work and client-facing on-site engagements. These new tools enable seamless collaboration on documents across multiple individuals and free their workflow from dependence on specific hardware. The easy exchange of documents also facilitates the sharing of best practices, which positively impacts employee effectiveness and empowers them to serve clients even better.
Security within the organization has also been substantially enhanced. All users now utilize secured Google accounts with enforced two-step verification, and Gmail’s robust anti-spam filters significantly reduce the likelihood of data breaches through phishing attacks. The expert configuration of the console by FOTC specialists adds an extra layer of security to Google’s inherent protections, while also empowering Partners International administrators to easily manage user accounts and oversee organizational processes.
